The Indian u-16 boys Team also felicitated for finishing a historic 5th place finish at FIBA U16 Asian Championship held at Qatar during the month June 2022. A cash prize of Rs.10.00 Lakhs was given to the team.
The Indian U-17 3×3 boys team was felicitated and an amount of Rs.4.00 Lakh was given for finishing a historic 2nd place at FIBA U-17 3X3 Asian Championship at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and obtaining silver medal and qualified for u-18 3×3 world cup schedule to be held at Spain in 2023.
The Prize distribution ceremony was attended by Hon. Governor of Karnataka Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot, Shri K.Govindaraj, President BFI, Shri B Dayananda , IPS President, KSBBA, Shri Rajneesh Goel, IAS Additional Chief Secretary to Govt Home Department and Secretary General , BFI Mr Chandramukhi Sharma attended the function.
