March 24, 2025: We are happy to inform that the President FIBA Asia & KOA, Hon Secretary KSBBA Dr. K.Govindaraj Sir has announced  cash award of Rs.5.00 lakhs to Karnataka State Basketball Women  team which has won the Silver Medal in U-23  National  Basketball Championship and Rs.3.00 lakhs to Karnataka Men Team which has won bronze medal in this National championship held at Guwahati-Assam.

He has congratulated all the players of both the teams along with coaches and managers and wished them all the very best for this achievement. This is the Frist U-23 National Basketball Championship which has taken place.

Basketball U23 National  Karnataka Women Team Secured Runners up Silver Medal and Men Team won the Bronze medal.

In the women’s final Tamil Nadu which trailed by one Point in the first half (29-28) came back strongly in the Third Quarter through Harima Sundari who scored 22 points and took 16 rebounds to Put Tamil Nadu ahead  (54-42 ),  Nitika Was  the top scorer for Tamil Nadu with 27 points for Karnataka Sanjana and Sathya scored 16 Points each.

Bronze for Karnataka Men and Delhi Women

In Men Karnataka took the third spot defeating Rajasthan(80-62) while in women Delhi claimed the final spot on the podium after they defeated Kerala  (69-63 ) with a strong finish in the Third Place Game, on Monday.
