MEG & Centre in the Men’s section and South western railway in the Women’s sections are the champions of this championship.

Winners awarded a cash prize of Rs.50,000/- each both in men and women section.
And Runners awarded a cash prize of Rs.25,000/- each both in men and women section
Third Place teams awarded a cash prize of Rs.15,000/- each both in men and women section respectively..

Facilitating State Youth Teams

The teams were  felicitated for their exceptional performances at national championships, bringing glory to the state. The details of the achievements and awards are as follows:

1. Gold Medal  Junior Girls– 74th Junior National Basketball Championship at Indore MP in the month of May 2024: Awarded a cash prize of ₹11.50 lakhs.
2. Silver Medal  Youth Girls– 38th Youth National Basketball Championship 2023 held at Pondicherry: Awarded a cash prize of ₹2.00 lakhs.
3. Silver Medal  Women team– National Games at Goa 2023: Awarded a cash prize of ₹2.00 lakhs.
Total cash prize of Rs.15.50 lakhs was given state cagers

This ceremony highlighted the unwavering commitment and success of Karnataka’s basketball teams, celebrating their dedication and hard work on a national stage.

Dr. K. Govindaraj, MLC and Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, and President of FIBA Asia, along with Sri B. Dayananda, IPS, Commissioner of Police and President of KSBBA; Sri A. Shankar, Hon. Secretary of KSCA; and Sri Srinivasa Gowda, IPS, Vice President of KSBBA, Sri Rajan , Vice President-KSBBA, presided over a grand Felicitation Ceremony organized by the Karnataka State Basketball Association (KSBBA) to honour the remarkable achievements of Karnataka’s State Basketball Teams.
